In another world, another time, The Crystal of Truth – a source of Balance in the Universe – was shattered, becoming The Dark Crystal, and was ruled by the wicked Skeksis as they poisoned the world. Now, as the convergence of the three suns approaches, the Crystal must be healed, or darkness will reign forevermore! It’s up to Jen and Kira — the last of their race — to fulfill the prophecy that a Gelfling will return the missing shard to the Crystal and destroy the Skeksis’ evil empire.
