Description
Behold, web-slingers, Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse is an incredible sequel that enhances the storyline and its character tenfold. It’s an endearing story and has many intense and fascinating action sequences. The 4K picture looks amazing and the Dolby Atmos audio mix sounds exquisite. They are both demo-worthy presentations. The bonus features are all worthwhile as well.
SPECIAL FEATURES
The 4K UHD Blu-ray Disc has the audio commentary track while the Blu-ray Disc has that along with over 90 minutes of bonus features that include interviews with the cast and crew, and some behind-the-scenes footage. These are wonderful extras.
- Audio Commentary – The directors and writers Christopher Miller and Phil Lord, along with Justin K. Thompson, Joaquim Dos Santos, and Kemp Powers tackle this commentary track. It’s very lively, funny, and has a ton of information. With five people though, it’s easy to stray off the path, which they do, but they’re so fun, it really doesn’t matter. This is a great listen.
- Creating the Ultimate Spider-Man Movie (HD, 15 Mins.) – The directors talk about making a sequel film even bigger, better, and more dynamic while keeping it grounded in its roots.
- Obscure Spiders and Easter Eggs (HD, 6 Mins.) – This is a too-short reveal of all the easter eggs in the film.
- Interdimensional Destiny (HD, 8 Mins.) – A brief talk on what it means to be in the multi-verse and its rules.
- Designing New Dimensions (HD, 8 Mins.) – The color palettes, different universes, and unique animations are all talked about here.
- Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Cast (HD, 13 Mins.) – This explores all of the voices, rehearsals, recording sessions, and more.
- Designing Spiders and Spots (HD, 13 Mins.) – Here is an examination of the two big characters in the movie, their physical body types, voices, and themes to their character.
- Raising A Hero (HD, 9 Mins.) – The big family arcs and tones of family drama are talked about here.
- Music of the Multiverse (HD, 5 Mins.) – This should be longer as well, but here are five minutes of the music from the film.
